Abbie Cornwallish is an Australian actress who was born in August 1982, has a number of films role. Cornish is known for playing Heidi on Somersault (2004), Fanny Brawne (Bright Star 2009), Sweet pea from Sucker Punch (2011), Lindy in Limitless (2012), Clara Murphy (RoboCop) (2014) and Sarah as Geostorm(2017). She has also collaborated along with Martin McDonagh to produce Seven Psychopaths and Three Billboards Beyond Ebbing Missouri. Cornish was awarded the first Screen Actors Guild Award in the ensemble cast for this movie. Jack Gilpin, star of Adventureland 2009 and many other films was her father. Ann McDonough was her mother. Betty Gilpin's parents were supportive and encouraged her to be an actress. Fordham College was her first selection when it came time to attend college. There she honed her acting skills. After graduating, Gilpin began performing in Off-Broadway plays while auditioning for TV and film roles. She landed a recurring role on the network's Law & Order: Criminal Intent between the years 2001-2011. It was followed by tiny roles as a ghost on Ghost Town and The Northern Kingdom. Gilpin continued to get TV guest appearances throughout the years. Her breakthrough was in 2013, when she was picked to be the main character on Nurse Jackie. Gilpin's character, the character Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin, appeared in 34 episodes of Nurse Jackie until the series ended on June 15, the 15th of June, 2015. The identical year Gilpin appeared in mystery-thriller True Story (2015).
