Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson is an American actress who gained fame by playing Buffy Summers in the cult Buffy the Vampireslayer film. She also played Becky Granger in the telefilm Nightingales and the brief-lived NBC show with the same nameErica Paget in CBS drama Early Editionand Marlowe Viccellio in Psych. As a California native, Swanson was interested in acting as a young girl. Her career began as an actor in commercials. The actress was featured in a scene in the NBC sitcom, It's Your Move, in 1984. Following that, in 1986's romantic comedy Pretty in Pink, Swan made her debut on the bigscreen. Known for her blonde hairlispand her breathless voiceSwan has shifted to portraying side characters in recent years.
