Anne Phung Nguyen

Hello, my name is Anne Phung Nguyen and I am an Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in the beautiful Orange County California with my wonderful fiance JP and my happy-go-lucky Dad Henry. My Instagram account, @annephung, is where I am most popular with my followers. I write about my life in general, positive and negative. In 1990 I emigrated to America together with my brother and parents when I turned one-and-half. Without my parents' love for dedication and hard work and sacrifice, I wouldn't be here sharing my story. To give them the chance to have a prospering future, I focused upon success and tried my best in order to reach it. I believed that my life would be the same way as I graduated from college, land an employment opportunity in the corporate world, then get married and start with a family. Even though I thought this was the definition of the ideal life, reality had other plans. My corporate job in 2013 was one I had dreaded. Money and status didn't give me joy. I thought I was just wasting my life to earn a paycheck. 2013 was the year I realized my love was exercising. Additionally, I enjoyed being social and giving back to others. This led me down a different path, and eventually into the world of personal training. In 2014 I started my own business, and in the year, 2021, I'll be celebrating my 7th birthday. Very few Asian women are employed in this industry. It is my goal to be a change maker within the field to offer quality coaching to empower others to become a healthier and happier them by creating an environment that is sustainable and meets the individual needs and desires. In addition, I strive to inspire others to pursue their goals and dreams so that they can achieve what they would like to accomplish. My mother's death, which occurred as my career was gaining momentum, caused me to suffer one of the worst losses in my entire life. The battle she fought for eight years with the disease has ended and she is now in Heaven. The memory of her will always remain in my thoughts and brain. The lessons we learn from life are often hidden from us, but they can be extremely valuable. My mom's death changed my life in a variety of ways. I believe my mom offered me a second opportunity to live my life after her passing. It was Tet/Lunar New Year Day when she died. It was her time to begin her new life and I had another chance to live happy and fulfilled life. It's been a while since I've had a moment that I feel as if I am alive. As I write this story, I hope that my personal experiences can resonate with those of you. It is my wish that my words can help anyone realize that they're not in isolation. That you have the ability to achieve anything that your heart desires. Since death is the only thing there is in this world I would like you to have fun in living your life to the fullest and leave without regrets.
